About our Main Stage Programing
Since stepping in mid-season in 2021, Dore Coller has continued the tradition of high-quality music on the MVFAF Mainstage. A longtime Mill Valley resident, Dore has spent his adult life in the music industry as a composer, performer, and producer, including 12 years with Bill Graham Presents and 14 years working on onsite production crews for the Mountain Play.
Dore’s approach to booking reflects the spirit of an arts festival—not a street fair or club showcase. He focuses on eclectic, original, primarily local artists who mirror the diversity, creativity, and quality found throughout the festival’s artist booths. Drawing on deep roots in the local arts community, the Mainstage has featured performers spanning generations, genres, and backgrounds—from emerging youth artists to legendary icons, and from bluegrass to rock, reggae, Latin, funk, soul, and beyond.
The result is a Mainstage lineup that celebrates artistic excellence, originality, and the vibrant creative community surrounding us.
Children’s Grove
Two days of delightful performances and creative activities for children and families include marionettes and puppets, story telling, singing, face painting, arts and crafts and more.

Community Art Project 2025
This will be the first community art project at the Mill Valley Fall arts Festival!
Robert is preparing a large mural surface with a "ready to paint" line drawing of Samantha Ferro's "Map of Mill Valley" poster image and visitors will be able to have fun painting it at the festival. It will be set up on Cascade Drive, near the bridge. Look for the sign!
Make a donation of your choice, and have fun "painting the town!"
