Annalee Savage
I have always been creating art, since I was a little kid. Art has always been my favorite class in school and I look forward to it every Tuesday and Thursday. I have had art integrated into my life for as long as I can remember.I was in art through middle school, and over the past eight summers I have attended a performing arts sleep away camp. For the past three years of high school I have been enrolled in a drawing and painting class, and I have gravitated towards patterns, bright colors, and nature. A lot of my work is acrylic paint and paint pens, I find it very calming to do fun patterns and not have every line be make or break, having a fluidity in my work is really important to me. My subject choice has been a lot of natural scenes of the ocean, mountains, and the sky. I am a part of an environmentally focused academy at Archie Williams and that has really inspired my art this past year. Outside of school I like to create my own clothes, make friendship bracelets, and doodle on almost every paper I have. After high school I plan to attend a 4 year college and enroll in a minor for fine arts. I would like to continue doing art and especially continue learning at a higher level.
